Mysuru: Akhila Karnataka Brahmana Mahasabha Vice-President H.V. Rajeev inaugurated the Mahasabha Office at Chamundipuram in city on Oct.28. This Mahasabha office was opened exclusively to provide information about the Brahmana Mahasabha Convention to be held on Dec.15 and 16 at Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Ashrama on Nanjangud Road in city.
After inaugurating the office, Rajeev said that the City was hosting this convention after a gap of 13 years with the intention to spread the programmes initiated by the Mahasabha for empowerment of community people. Members of all Brahmin organisations in city must extend all co-operation for the success of the convention, he added.
Dr. Bhanuprakash Sharma, who also spoke said that the convention has been organised with the objective to identify the talents and to felicitate outstanding personalities of the community. A platform will be created for budding talents for the growth of their career, he added.
Gayathri Bhavan
The Mahasabha has planned to build Gayathri Bhavan to help all Trimathastha Brahmin community people to hold meetings and programmes. A huge Shobha Yatra will be taken out to exhibit the strength. All modalities and future course of action will be discussed at the Mahasabha office for the success of this event.
Mahasabha Working President Gopalrao, Krishnadas Puranik, T.S. Ravishankar, G.R. Nagaraj, M.V. Ramprasad, M.C. Ramesh, Sowbhagya Murthy, M.D. Parthasarathy, Shankaranarayan, D.N. Krishnamurthy, Ravishastri, Dr. Lakshmi Manjunath, Apoorva Suresh, Homma Manjunath, Mike Chandru, Vikram Iyengar, Ajay Shastri, Kadakola Jagadeesh, Jayasimha and others were present.
