Brain Bytes-2024 quiz contest winners

Mysuru: “Anyone can collect information, but transforming it into knowledge is what truly empowers you,” said Dr. Navin Patel, Associate Vice-President, Infosys Ltd.

He was addressing the participants after inaugurating Brain Bytes-2024, a quiz competition for PU students organised by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Mysuru campus, at its premises in Bogadi II Stage recently.

He said, while information is widely accessible, true knowledge requires analysis, understanding, and active engagement. He encouraged students to go beyond rote memorisation and to develop critical thinking skills.

Dr. Patel also shared insights from his own career at Infosys, emphasising that continuous learning allows individuals to remain adaptable in a rapidly changing world.

He encouraged the students to view learning as a life-long journey, essential for achieving success and personal fulfilment.

The quiz contest was held to prepare students to meet the demands of an ever-changing competitive world, in addition to helping them break the monotony of everyday academic routine.
