Mysuru: Legendary Australian fast bowler Brett Lee, who is in Mysuru as part of Star Sports commentary team for the ongoing Karbonn Smart KPL, tried his hands on traditional wrestling by taking on the pahilwans at Devaraja Urs Multipurpose Stadium in Dasara Exhibition Grounds here yesterday.
Brett Lee made the most of his free time by visiting the wrestling arena and watching the pahilwans in a wrestling bout. He also interacted with the coaches and learnt about wrestling houses (Garadi Mane). Later, he decided to take on the pahilwans.
The wrestling bout went on for about 15 minutes and KEA Chairman B. Siddaraju, who played the role of chief referee, declared Brett Lee as the winner by lifting his hand.
