BSF Soldier from city passes away in Jammu

Mysore/Mysuru: Keshavardhan (51), a resident of Gandhinagar 6th Cross, who was serving as a Border Security Force (BSF) Soldier at Jammu, passed away following a heart attack while on duty on Jan. 3.

He is survived by his wife Kalyani, son Prajwal, mother, one brother, two sisters and a host of relatives and friends.

The mortal remains of the soldier arrived in city at 5 am today and was received by the District Administration. The body was then shifted to his new residence at Kalyangiri and was later shifted to his Gandhinagar residence at 10.30 am, where MLA Tanveer Sait, Sri Jnanaprakash Swamiji and others paid their  last respects.

Last rites were held at Adi Karnataka Burial Grounds in Gandhinagar this afternoon.
