Mysuru: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) had organised an Open House Session with customers at Regional Telecom Training Centre (RTTC) in T.K. Layout here yesterday.
Speaking on the occasion BSNL Deputy General Manager K.V. Muthalik disclosed that BSNL was setting up 40 new transmission towers in city and also augment the call handling capacity of 70 towers for BSNL to come closer to consumers. He assured that the changes would further improve the BSNL mobile network and thus putting to rest any hassles.
Muthalik contended that BSNL would evolve as an imposing contender for private telecom companies in the coming days. He said that the good service and schemes of BSNL were attracting other customers too. He added that the Optical Fibre Cable (OFC) Network was picking up in city. He further said that BSNL intends to lay another 150km long of OFC to cover more consumers which will accomplish Digital India and Mysuru Vision 2025.
