BSY will act as ‘Super CM’ and control Bommai Govt.: Anand Asnotikar

Eyes to make son B.Y. Vijayendra as CM in 2023

Karwar: Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa has made Basavaraj Bommai as his successor only to ensure that his son B.Y. Vijayendra was made the CM after the 2023 Assembly polls, said former Minister Anand Asnotikar.

Talking to reporters here yesterday, he said in making Bommai as CM, Yediyurappa has gained control over the party. And by doing this, he will function as ‘Super CM’ and run the State.

Former Tourism Minister C.P. Yogeeshwar and MLA Basangouda Patil Yatnal made anti-Yediyurappa statements. Despite Yatnal shouting like a caged monkey nothing happened.  If BJP is really a disciplined party then Yogeeshwar and Yatnal must not be inducted into the Cabinet, he added.

Terming Bommai’s selection as the CM as a good choice, Asnotikar said this will help BJP in the coming days. Good days are expected ahead and dispensation of the incumbent Government will bring good prospects for Janata Dal (Secular). Former CM H.D. Kumaraswamy will play a major role in the formation of the next Government in the State, he added.
