Mysore/Mysuru: Miscreants, who broke into an electrical shop and a house, have decamped with cash, gold jewellery and electrical items.

The theft took place at P.S. Electrical, located on the 8th Cross of 10th Main Road in Jayanagar and the outhouse located in the electrical shop premises.

The miscreants, who entered the electrical shop on Aug. 21 night by breaking open the lock, made away with Rs. 50,000 cash and electrical items. They then broke into the outhouse, belonging to one Huchamma and decamped with gold jewellery weighing about 12 grams.

A case has been registered at Ashokapuram Police Station.
