C. Narayanagowda re-elected as Cosmopolitan Club President

Mysore/Mysuru: Mysuru Hotel Owners Association President C.Narayanagowda was re-elected as the President of the city’s Cosmopolitan Club in the election held yesterday.

Narayanagowda defeated his only rival K.P. Devaraj by a huge margin of 231 votes, thus retaining the President post for the year 2021-22. While Narayanagowda got 357 votes, Devaraj  secured 126 votes.

Narayanagowda, who owns Vishnu  Bhavan Group of Hotels, is also the President of Vijayanagar First Stage Residents Welfare Association and a member of Mysore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI).

The other office-bearers of Cosmopolitan Club who were elected unopposed are — S. Dwaraki – Vice-President; H.N.Jayapal – Secretary and Veersh – Treasurer.

Committee members:  G. Sanjay, G. Madhusudhan, S. San-deep, M.J. Charan, M.N. Nan-deesh, M.S. Jayaprakash and Shanthamurthy.
