Ramachandra Singh, retd. Professor and Deputy Director of the Department of Kannada & Culture, Mysuru, passed away at his residence on Ramanuja Road here this morning.

He leaves behind two sons, grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites will be performed after his son returns from America.
