Belagavi: After days of curiosity, the time for State Cabinet expansion seems to have come, with the Congress High Command finally giving the nod.
The Cabinet expansion of the JD(S)-Congress coalition Government is likely to take place at 5 pm on Dec.22 at Raj Bhavan in Bengaluru.
The Chief Minister’s Office is said to have communicated the Governor’s Office in this regard.
Speaking to press persons after the Congress Legislature Party (CLP) meeting at Belagavi yesterday, KPCC President Dinesh Gundu Rao said that new faces are to be inducted into the State Cabinet.
Giving vague reply on whether it would be a Cabinet expansion or Cabinet reshuffle, Gundu Rao asked to wait till Dec.22.
