Mysuru: The Joint Director of Collegiate Education (Mysuru) has called upon the students to join Government First Grade Colleges as they provide many facilities.
In a press release, the Joint Director has said that there were 75 Government First Grade Colleges in Mysuru Zone, out of which 23 of them were in Mysuru district, 28 in Hassan, 15 in Mandya and 9 in Chamarajanagar district.
While three of these Colleges have earned NAAC ‘A’ Grade recognition, 30 other Colleges have earned ‘B’ Grade. The Colleges provide a conducive atmosphere for academic learning besides having smart classrooms, well-stocked library, fully-equipped laboratories and a host of other facilities.
The Colleges offer a whole range of scholarships across many Government schemes. Also, there is fee concession for girl students and SC/ST students admitted to first year will be given laptops for free.
