Mysuru: 25The Department of Information and Public Relation has invited applications from Mysuru district street play and folk music troupes to create awareness about government schemes under Rural Contact Programme.

Street play: The troupe of eight artistes can apply. This group should have two women artistes and one artiste should belong to Scheduled Castes (SC) or Scheduled Tribes (ST) communities.

Folk music: The troupe of three artistes can apply. Among them, one woman artiste and one artiste should belong to Scheduled Castes (SC) or Scheduled Tribes (ST) communities.

Preference will be given to those teams, who have already performed in publicising government schemes and programmes. Interested teams can send their leaders name, address, phone number, experience letter, team members names, photo copy of team performance and other related documents to: Deputy Director, Department of Information and Public Relation,Vartha Bhavana, Dhanvantri Road, Mysuru; before July 31.
