Calling farmers to register in PM-Kisan portal

To provide financial assistance to farmers, the Union Government has launched the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi under which every farmer will be given Rs. 6,000 per year in three equal instalments.

Farmers can contact any Government Farmers Contact Centre, Atalji Centre or Gram Panchayat Office to register their names in PM-Kisan portal and get a registration number.

The farmers should produce all land documents, caste certificate, photo and bank details. Already 7,324 farmers have got registered in the portal in Periyapatna taluk.
