Mysuru/Mysore:- The Rajiv Gandhi Rural Housing Corporation had blocked construction of houses of beneficiaries under Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Housing Scheme and Vajpayee Urban Housing Scheme who were sanctioned plots in Bannur Municipal limits during 2015-16, 2016-17 and 2017-18 for failure to begin construction of houses.
Now, following directions from the Government, the 101 beneficiaries have been given one more chance for construction of houses and accordingly, all the beneficiaries are required to begin construction of houses by Mar.14.
The beneficiaries who default on commencement of work within Mar.14, 2020 will be permanently dropped from the list of beneficiaries, according to a press release issued by the Bannur TMC Executive officer.
At Nanjangud
96 beneficiaries of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Housing Scheme and Vajpayee Urban Housing Scheme, who were allotted plots in Nanjangud City Municipal Council limits during 2015-16, 2016-17 and 2017-18, have also been given one more chance for construction of houses.
The beneficiaries must begin construction of houses, latest by Mar.14, 2020 and upload photo of the house basement through Indira app to the authorities of Rajiv Gandhi Housing Corporation Limited.
The uploading of photo will enable the Corporation to release the first instalment of funds.
