The Social Welfare Department has invited applications from eligible and talented SC community students for admission to 6th standard (2021-22) in prestigious schools of the city and district under the Department quota.
SC students who have passed fifth standard with more than 60 percent marks and whose annual income of parents does not exceed Rs.2 lakh are eligible to apply. One boy student and one girl student from each family or two girl students from a family are considered for admission upon getting selected.
The selected students can get admitted at BharatiyaVidyaBhavan in Vijayanagar, Good Shepherd Convent in Lashkar Mohalla, Avila Convent on Krishna Vilas Road, Shastri Charitable Trust School on Bypass road at Hunsur, St.Joseph’s School at Hunsur town, Christ School at Thandavapura in Nanjangud taluk and Sri JagadguruBalagangadharanathaSwamijiBalajagat School at K.R. Nagar.
Applications can be collected from the Department Office in the respective taluks and submit filled in forms along with all necessary documents before Sept.18.
