Mysuru: The Department of Social Welfare will provide scholarship and fund the entire fees for students of SC/ST community selected for various nursing courses for the year 2018-19. Students will be selected to study Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (DGNM), Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing (P.B.B.Sc) and two-year M.Sc., nursing course.
They will be enrolled at authorised Nursing Schools recognised by Karnataka State Nursing Council, All India Nursing Council, and other statutory bodies. The Department will release the fees directly to the Nursing Schools after the enrolment as per the government norms till the completion of their course. Applications invited from post-metric students
The Department of Tribal Welfare has invited applications from post-metric students belonging to Scheduled Tribe community to avail scholarship for the year 2018-19. The last date for submission of online application to the Department’s website https://scholarships.gov.in is Dec. 30. Students should submit the photocopies of their application form along with caste, other relevant documents to the Office of Taluk Tribal Welfare Department, Mysore taluk, Number 40, Sri Maharshi Valmiki Bhavan, opposite Cauvery Grameena Bank, Central Office, Vijayanagar Second Stage, Mysuru.
