Mysuru: Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens, popularly called as the Mysuru Zoo has invited applications from High School students aged between 12 and 18 years for enrolment to the Youth Club.
Only 60 students will be selected on ‘first come first serve basis’ and the selected students would be exposed to various activities of Zoo education and Wildlife Conservation, value of wildlife, captive management of wild animals, besides periodic theory classes and practical works in up-keeping, feeding, animal behaviour studies, visitors’ survey etc.
Interested students may obtain the application forms from the Zoo office from June 19 and submit the filled in applications along with three stamp size colour photos, marks card proof, blood group certificate and a fee of Rs. 1000.
