Mysore/Mysuru: The 24th edition of The Hindu Education Plus Career Counselling Fair-2026, which serves as a guiding platform for students’ future careers, has commenced at various locations across the State.
In Mysuru, student registration will begin at 9 am on May 16 (Saturday) and the programme will commence at 9.30 am at the Sahukar Channaiah auditorium of Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering (VVCE) in Gokulam.
Students will receive guidance on professional courses including medical and engineering education, entrance examinations such as CET and NEET, law, degree courses and various other higher education opportunities.
Nitesh Patil, Regional Commissioner, Mysuru, will be the chief guest.
Dr. B. Sadashivegowda, VVCE Principal, will speak on engineering education; Dr. S.N. Manjunath, Head of the Community Medical Department at Mysore Medical College and Research Institute, will speak on medical education.
Uday Shankar, Nodal Officer, KEA Helpline Division, will provide information on CET counselling while Amin E. Mudassir from Sigma Institution will speak about various educational opportunities.
S. Bhargava, CA, will speak on Commerce while Gaurav Yadav will guide students on higher education opportunities.
