Cars, bikes damaged as tree comes crashing

Mysuru: Two cars and four bikes were damaged when a huge tree fell on them near Indian Overseas Bank on Chamaraja Double Road here last night.

The damaged vehicles are Hyundai i20 car (KA-51 MD-4473), another car (KA-09 MA-1418) and a Royal Enfield bike (KA-12 J-4827) and three other bikes.  Luckily, no one has been injured and no loss of life has been reported, said Fire Station Officer S. Nagaraj Urs.

District Fire and Emergency Services Officer Gururaj, Station Officer Nagaraj Urs and staff, along with the help of Traffic Police, managed to free the vehicles trapped under the huge tree.
