Castle Bridge wins Mysore Derby

Mysuru: Castle Bridge won The Mysore Derby 2017 held yesterday at the Mysore Race Club (MRC) Limited, here.

The winning horse, owned by United Racing and Bloodstock Breeders Limited, was trained by Bharath Singh and ridden by jockey Suraj Naredu.

The trophy to the winner was presented by MRC Chairman G. Venkatesh.

The MRC also gave away prizes to the spectators for correctly guessing the names of the winning horses in races 5, 6 and 7 in The Mysore Derby.

The first prize in this category was won by Roshan, a native of Mangaluru currently settled in Dubai. He was awarded a brand new Renault Kwid car.

Meanwhile, Sushanth, Dhanush and K.N. Madhu, winners of 2nd, 3rd and 4th places respectively were awarded with Bajaj  motorcycles.

This apart, several others won gift vouchers from Titan.
