H.M. Mallikarjunappa (81), retired English Professor of Marimallappa’s PU College and a resident of Anikethana Road 5th Cross in Kuvempunagar, passed away yesterday in city. He leaves behind his wife Nagarathnamma, daughters Geetha Shanthakumar and Aparna and son-in-law Shanthakumar of Prerana Agro. Last rites were performed at Veerashaiva Burial Grounds at Vidyaranyapuram this morning.

V.H. Lakshmikanth (51), son of P. Huchappa (retired General Manager, MCDCC Bank) and a resident of Theobald Road in Nazarbad, passed away on Thursday night in city. He leaves behind his father, mother M.S. Sowbhagyamma, wife Chandrakala, daughter Deepana and son Hemanth. Last rites were performed on Friday.

Gangamma (75), wife of late Shivanna and a resident of Agrahara in city, passed away yesterday. She leaves behind her son Swamy, two daughters and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed at Veerashaiva Burial Grounds in Vidyaranyapuram this afternoon.

M. Murthy (69), retired Senior Manager of Kaveri Grameena Bank and a resident of Someshwarapura village in Mysuru taluk, passed away on Thursday. He leaves behind two daughters, a son, sons-in-law, grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed at his native village yesterday.

Sreenivas (65), a paper agent and a resident of Raghavendra Nagar here, passed away at a private hospital in city this morning. He leaves behind his wife, two sons and three daughters.  Last rites will be performed at the foot of Chamundi Hill at 5 pm today.

Mysuru, Nov. 17- Savithramma (96), wife of late Keshavaiah and a resident of Lakshmikanthanagar in Hebbal, passed away this morning at her residence.
