U.M. Mallappa (76), retired Manager at LIC and a resident of Vijayanagar 1st stage passed away on Sunday in city. Brother of Past BAI State Chaiman U.M. Gurushanthappa, he leaves behind his wife Jayamma, son Anil, daughter Anitha and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were held in city.
