Dr. Chottera Kalaiah Ganapathy (69), popularly known as Kumar, passed away last evening at House No. 278, Vijayanagar Second Stage. He leaves behind his wife Dr. Geetha Ganapathy and a host of relatives and friends. Cremation was held this afternoon at Gokulam crematorium, according to family sources.

Sherfunnisa (71), wife of late Abdul Wajid and a retired lecturer from District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Mysuru,  passed away last night following prolonged illness. She leaves behind son Prof. Khalid Imran, daughter Kaneez Fathima and a host of relatives and friends. Burial took place at the Muslim Burial Ground here.
