Cattle trader murder case: Four Police teams formed to nab accused

Bengaluru: Ramanagar District Police have formed four teams to nab right wing activist Puneet Kerehalli, who has been accused of murdering cattle trader Idris Pasha (39), whose body was found among the bushes in Sathanur Police limits in the early hours of Saturday.

Inspector General of Police (IGP) – Central Range – B.R. Ravikanthe Gowda said that the accused have not been arrested and added that a team of doctors from the Forensic Science wing have conducted post-mortem besides stating that the exact reason for the death of Idris Pasha will be known only after receiving the post-mortem report.

While one Police team is led by Sathanur Inspector, Sub-Division Dy.SP will lead another team. Two more teams comprising Sub-Division Police personnel have also been formed to nab the accused at the earliest. The body of Idris Pasha was found at a distance from Sathanur Police Station and the Police had registered murder cases against four persons including Puneet.
