Mysore/Mysuru: Cauvery Heart and Multi-Speciality Hospital, Siddarthanagar, in Mysuru, has started oncology services through Cauvery Cancer Centre (CCC).
The CCC was launched by Dr. C. Ramachandra, Director, Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology, Cancer Research & Training Centre, Bengaluru, by inaugurating the Chemotherapy Ward.
The programme was presided by Dr. G.R. Chandrashekar, Chairman of Cauvery Heart and Multi-Speciality Hospital.
It was explained in detail that CCC has added services of Screening/ Diagnostic Services in Oncology, Chemotherapy, Surgical Intervention, Oncoplasty, Key Hole Surgeries supported by Pain Clinic and Comprehensive Rehabilitation Services like Physiotherapy, Speech Therapy and other allied services.
Cancer Care Patients under this centre can be treated under TPA Insurance, BPL Card Holders, ESI, ABY, Govt.Employees and all related segment.
Dr. Sarala Chandrashekar, Managing Director, Cauvery Heart and Multi-Speciality Hospital, Dr. B.N. Rajeeva, Medical Superintendent, Dr. Girish, Consultant Oncosurgeon, Dr. R.M. Aravind, Consultant Laparoscopic Surgeon, B.J. Sandeep Patel, Facility Director, all the consultants of Cauvery Heart and Multi-Speciality Hospital, were present during the function.
