Three women rescued; case registered against outlet owner, manager
Mysuru: City Crime Branch (CCB) Police, acting on a tip off that flesh trade was taking place at a spa and massage parlour in Siddarthanagar, raided the parlour and rescued three women besides registering a case against the parlour owner and the manager.
City’s Cyber, Economic and Narcotics (CEN) Crime Police Inspector Nandishkumar had informed the CCB Police that flesh trade was taking place at Silver Cloud Spa and Massage Centre on Vinaya Marga in Siddarthanagar.
On Sept. 16, the CCB Police team after confirming the information obtained the necessary search warrant. At about 2 pm, CCB Sub-Inspector Anil Kumar with coordination from Nazarbad Police reached Vinaya Marga in the Police vehicle and a private vehicle, stopped the vehicles at a distance from the parlour and kept a watch on it during which they saw a man entering the parlour in a suspicious manner. After a few minutes, the Cops saw another person entering the parlour.
At about 3.30 pm, the CCB and Nazarbad Police entered the parlour, told the woman at the reception counter that they had come for an inspection and showed the search warrant.
The parlour had many rooms and on entering the first room, the Cops saw a woman and a man inside and questioned them. The Police also found condom packets under the pillow on the massage table. When the Police questioned the man, he is said to have told the Police that he had paid Rs. 4,000 to the PhonePe accounts of Sanjay and Sandeep of K.R. Nagar and had come here.
When the Police inspected another room, they saw a woman sitting inside and on questioning her, the woman is said to have told the Cops that she was in the room since morning waiting for customers. On inspecting the third room, the Cops found a woman inside, who too said that she was waiting for customers since morning.
Three persons who were at the reception were also questioned during which two youths told the Cops that they had collected information about the massage centre and came now while another person said that he was working as a room boy at the massage parlour.
When the Police questioned the woman at the reception counter, she is said to have told the Cops that she was the centre manager and Sandeep was the owner.
She also told the Police that she was appointed to look after the centre and her job was to collect money from the customers and send them to the rooms.
Following confirmation that flesh trade was indeed taking place at the spa and massage parlour, a case was registered against the parlour owner and the manager at Nazarbad Police Station.
