CCB sleuths seize MDMA worth Rs. 30,000

Mysuru: The City Crime Branch (CCB) sleuths have seized 10.20 gram of MDMA narcotic drug from a person who was allegedly trying to sell it on old Bengluru-Mysuru Highway on Apr. 24.

According to a press release, the person was caught on suspicion when he was travelling on motorbike with   no number plate by the CCB sleuths while on a regular beat near the road leading to Royal Function Hall, opposite Potharaju Building under Narasimharaja Police limits.

During the investigation, they found the person with possession of MDMA.  Soon, they took the person into custody and recovered the two-wheeler, a mobile phone, digital scale and other equipment.

Narasimharaja Police have registered a case and are investigating.

In another case, CCB sleuths raided Vaishnavi Ananya Sports and Creation Club on Apr. 27 and took 23 persons into custody who were allegedly involved in gambling and recovered Rs. 55,230 cash.

Vijayanagar Police have registered a case and are investigating.
