Mysuru: Mysuru- Kodagu MP Pratap Simha has said that the Union Minister of Surface Transport & Highways Nitin Gadkari has released Rs.79.60 crore for the development of various roads across Mysuru-Kodagu Lok Sabha constituency.
The break up is as follows: Rs.5 crore for development of the stretch from Metropole Circle to Jaladarshni Guest House on Hunsur Road; Rs.5 crore for development of M.B. Road-Koorgalli-KRS Road in Mysuru city and taluk.
Kodagu
Rs.2 crore for development of 1.5km road from the backside of Bhadrakaleshwara Temple, Makkandur to Chainadheera Family Road stretch in Madikeri taluk and Rs.4 crore for development of Konanur-Ambatti Circle-Makutta Road in Virajpet taluk of Kodagu district.
Hunsur taluk
Rs.3 crore for development of Ranganatha Extension-Naganahalli-Tippalapura-Meduru-KMRA Road, Rs.3 crore for development of Santekere Kodi-Nanjapura-Uddur-Beejaganahalli-M.B. Road, Rs.4 crore for development of Km 28 to Km 36 of Mysuru-Bogadi Road passing through Hunsur taluk, Rs.8 crore for Moorakalu-Vadambalu-Hanagudu Road, Rs.3.9 crore for development of Hunsur-Periyapatna Road passing through Honnenahalli and Rs.4.5 crore for development of Gommatagiri- Kommegowdanakopplu- Gerasanahalli- Husenapura Bridge -Tenkanakoppalu-Gantegowdanakoppalu Road.
Periyapatna taluk
Rs.4.95 crore for development of Poonadahalli-Chikkanerale-Haranahalli Road, Rs.3.25 crore for development of RT Road- Chikkahanasoge- Chennammagere-Halaganahalli-Kanaganakoppa -M.B. Road, Rs.14 crore for development of Makodu-Ravandur-Attigodu- Kattemalalawadi-Chennammagere Road and Rs.15 crore for development of Hadya-Bettadapura-Feezerpet Road.
MP Pratap Simha has thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Minister Nitin Gadkiri for releasing the money.
