CFTRI to host popular lectures for students from Jan. 10

Mysuru: The Mysuru based CSIR-Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI) is organising a series of popular lectures by eminent scientists and technologists for the benefit of students of Mysuru. 

Beginning January, the series titled Future India aims to educate the next generation technologists and innovators on the achievements of Indian Science and Technology in various fronts. 

The first lecture of the series will be delivered by renowned Information Technology Analyst, Scientist and Journalist Dr. Sivanand Kanavi on the topic “How Indian’s Won the Silicon Valley” on Jan.10 from 11 am to 1 pm.

Students also get a chance to interact with the speakers to satiate their curiosity or clarify doubts, says Dr. KSMS Raghavarao, Director, CSIR-CFTRI. 

The Institute is also open to join hands with other academic institutions for organising such lectures in future.  Entry to lecture series is free, but on invitation.
