CFTRI Ulisi Horata Vedike threatens stir in New Delhi on July 14

Mysuru: The CFTRI Ulisi Horata Vedike has threatened to stage a demonstration in front of  the CSIR Director-General’s office in New Delhi on July 14 if its demand to sack CFTRI Director Prof. Ram Rajasekharan, who has been accused of pursuing an anti-Kannada stance, is not met.

Addressing a press meet at Patrakarthara Bhavan, Vedike President K.S. Shivaramu said despite a series of protests against the CFTRI Director no action has been taken so far.

Seeking a CBI probe into alleged irregularities by the  Director, Shivaramu urged the CFTRI authorities to allow re-opening of the shut down Kannada Balaga, to put an end to harassment of Kannadiga employees and revoking of suspension of Kannadiga employees, among others.

He said that a demonstration will be held in front of CSIR DG’s Office on Rafi Marg, New Delhi on July 14, if their demand was not met at the earliest.

Litterateur Prof. CPK and Vedike office-bearers were present.
