‘Chaarvi’ a brand name of music launched

Mysuru: D.N. Raghavendra of Swara Saagara Music Foundation and Sunitha Chandrakumar of Raghuleela Sangeetha Shale had organised a programme at Kalamandira here last evening for the launch of ‘Chaarvi,’ a brand name for anything related to music.

Launching ‘Chaarvi,’ District Co-op. Union President H.V. Rajeev opined that any learning should be thought-provoking and added that the teaching mode should be good. He said that ‘Chaarvi’ was an excellent platform to symbolise and spell content and presentation of any variant of music. He suggested people to choose a career based on their ability and aptitude.

Poetess M.R. Kamala released a Bhavageete album ‘Aa Nayana’ composed by Sunitha Chandrakumar. She opined that music can establish a good bondage among people.

Retired Kannada Professor M. Krishnegowda released a folk album ‘Dadyaam’ sung by Shubha Raghavendra and composed by Sunitha Chandrakumar. Writer Dr. Kabbinale Vasanth Bharadwaj released ‘Deepa Lakshmi,’ a collection of poems written by Pu.Thi.   Narasimhachar.

Chaarvi Founders Sunitha Chandrakumar, D.N. Raghavendra, Shubha Raghavendra, Chandrakumar  and others were present during the programme.
