Mysuru: After a brief lull, chain snatchers have struck again in city by snatching a 40 grams gold chain from a school teacher in Mysuru South Police Station limits yesterday afternoon.

The victim has been identified as 40-year-old Indira, a teacher at the Government School in Manasinagar on Mysuru-Bannur road.

Indira was returning home from school, when two bike borne miscreants who came from behind, managed to yank off her gold chain and fled, it is learnt.

Mysuru South Police, who have registered a case in this regard, are investigating.
