Chain-snatcher arrested

Mysuru: Lashkar Police have arrested a chain-snatcher and have recovered gold chains weighing about 60 grams and worth about Rs.1.86 lakh from him.

The arrested is Shivamadu, a resident of Singarajapura, Channapatna taluk of Ramanagar district.

During interrogation, the accused is said to have confessed of snatching a 20 grams gold chain from a woman in bus stand about seven years ago and a 40 grams gold chain recently. A case has been registered at Lashkar Police Station in this regard.
