Chaitra Ramalingegowda (38), a columnist, employee of a software company and a resident of Aniketana Road in Kuvempunagar, passed away in Bengaluru yesterday.

A spinster, she leaves behind her father retired Additional Commissioner of Commercial Tax Department Ramalingegowda, mother, brother and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were held at K.G. Koppal Burial Grounds yesterday evening.
