Chamarajanagar: The Chamarajanagar District Congress on Wednesday donated Rs.10 lakh to KPCC (Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee) COVID-19 fund.
The District Task Force Committee headed by former MP R. Dhruvanarayan handed over a cheque for Rs.10 lakh to KPCC President D.K. Shivakumar at the latter’s Sadashivanagar residence in Bengaluru. The Chamarajanagar District Congress had collected the amount from party legislators, former MLAs, local bodies members and other party leaders.
MLAs Puttarangashetty and R. Narendra, District Congress President P. Mariswamy, former MP Kagalawadi Shivanna, former MLA S. Balaraj and others were present.
