Doddamane Chamundanayaka (90), leader of Nayaka community at Kupparavalli village in Nanjangiud taluk, passed away yesterday.
He leaves behind his wife, five sons, two daughters and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites will be held today, according to family sources.
