Chamundipuram Park in a state of utter neglect

Sir,

I would like to draw the attention of the civic authority towards the deplorable condition of the park in Chamundipuram 2nd Cross. The park is not cleaned properly or secured tightly against the stray animals.

The people are using the park to bury the dead pet animals in spite of direct multiple pleas against it. When this is the case, how can we let our children play in this park?

Not only this, people even urinate during wee hours and this puts the houses nearby into possible health hazards.

The said park has become a favourite spot for anti-social elements who are involved in substance abuse, drinking and creating nuisance for other park-goers. Now the land is nothing more than a barren area littered with garbage.

The workers who are employed to maintain the park are never seen and people associated with this are unnoticed. We have also tried to complain about it to the area Corporator, but again all the efforts went in vain.

I would request the MCC Commissioner to kindly look into this matter and help the nearby residents to live in peace.
