Channabasappa (70), a resident of Kodagahalli here, passed away on Saturday.

He had served as the Director of JSS Jan Shikshan Sansthan and Karnataka State Resource Centre, besides involving himself actively in Suttur Srimutt’s Adi Jagadguru Jayanthi Mahotsav and Suttur Jatra Mahotsav.

He leaves behind his wife, one son, one daughter and a host of relatives and friends.
