Mysore/Mysuru: The 17th Chaturmasya Vrata Deeksha programme by Sri Datta Vijayananda Teertha Swamiji, Junior Pontiff of Avadhoota Datta Peetham, will be  held at Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Ashrama in Datta Nagar from July 5 to Sept.2. As part of Gurupurnima on July 5, following events will be held: 6 am – Suprabhata Seva to Kalagnishamana Dattatreyaswamy and Pavamana Homa; 8 am – Guruparampara Puja, Vyasa Puja and Chaitanyarchane; 11 am – Pavamana Homa Purnahuti, Sadguru Paduka Puja, release of Yoga Vasishta Grantha, ‘Anugraha Sandesha’ by Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji; 5 pm – Srichakra Puja, Mass Guru Geetha Parayana; 6.30 pm – Discourse on ‘Mahabharata’ by Sri Ganapathy Swamiji.

Following events will be held every day from July 6 to Sept.2: 8 am – Yoga Vasishta discourse; 9 am – Srichakra Puja and Maha Ganapathy Homa; 10 am – Chaturmasya Vratadeeksha Mahotsava Samapti and Seemolanghana; 6.30 pm – Discourse on ‘Mahabharata’ by Sri Ganapathy Swamiji. Thailabhisheka will be held at 12 noon on every Sunday and special programme will be held during all the festival days.

NOTE: There will be no entry for devotees for the above events in the wake of Covid-19.
