Chaturmasya Vrata Deeksha Prog. at Ganapathy Ashram

On the occasion of Guru Purnima on July 13, Chaturmasya Vrata Deeksha rituals by Sri Datta Vijayananda Theertha Swamiji, Junior Pontiff of Avadhoota Datta Peetha, will commence at Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Ashram in Dattanagar on Nanjangud Road in city. Chaturmasya Vrata will be held from July 13 to Sept. 10.

The following programmes will be held on July 13 — 6 am: Suprabhata to Lord Kalagnishamana Dattatreya, Pavamana Homa begins; 8 am: Traditional Guru Puja, Vyasa Puja, Chaitanyarchana; 10 am: Pavamana Homa, Datta Homa, Sadguru Paduka Puja; 5 pm: Sri Chakra Puja; 6 pm: Chanting Sri Guru Geeta by devotees; 7 pm: Chaturmasya Discourse from Varaha Purana.

Daily programmes from July 14 to Sept. 10 — 7.30 am: Sri Chakra Puja, Maha Ganapathy Homa; 8 am: Discourse on Yoga Vashishta; 7 pm: Special programmes.

On Sundays — Tailabhisheka to Lord Dattatreya; On Festivities — Special programmes.
