As part of World Photographers Day, K.M. Praveen Kumar Charitable Trust has organised a programme at Krishnamurthypuram Srirama Mandira today (Aug. 21) at 5.30 pm to present ‘Chayagrahaka Bhishma’ award to photographers who are in the field for over 25 years — Pragathi Gopalakrishna, Police Subbanna, S. Nagaraj, Ramesh Sarkar and Manjunath. Sri Ilai Alwar Swamiji of Melukote’s Vangipura Mutt, Mayor M.J. Ravikumar, BJP leaders H.V. Rajeev, Phaneesh, social worker K. Raghuram, Mysuru City and District Brahmana Sangha President D.T. Prakash, former Mayor R.J. Narasimha Iyengar, Congress leader T.S. Ravishankar, Corporator M.V. Ramprasad, former Corporator M.D. Parthasarathy and M.K. Ashok and JDS Gen. Secretary Basavaraj will be the chief guests.
