Check stray dog menace in Hebbal

April 3, 2017

Sir,

I am a resident of Hebbal 2nd Stage. Every day I go out in my two-wheeler, I have to carefully choose which road I need to take before reaching my destination as each road has these terrifying group of stray dogs. They come in group of 5 or 7 or even more chasing us.

What do we do when a stray dog chases us? Do we find a way to escape or face the dog with our might? These days, the City Corporation authorities do not pay attention to these stray dogs which are dangerous to human beings. It is a also a big problem that is being faced by the people who walk on the streets.

These stray dogs chase the four-wheelers also and cause them to meet with some accidents. A stray dog bite is very dangerous that requires too many injections and strict adherence to certain procedures, if not followed might cause damage to our life.

I request the concerned authorities to look into this serious matter before any fatal incident takes place.
