Cheeyakpoovanda Madaiah (Chimma), a resident Encon Ashraya at Jayalakshmipuram in city, passed away after a brief illness at Pune on Apr. 26. He was 82.
He leaves behind his wife, son, daughter and a host of relatives and friends.
Funeral will be held at Pune after the arrival of his daughter from Canada, according to family sources.
