Tension prevailed for some time at Moulana Abul Kalam Azad Circle (Highway Circle) in city this afternoon when an unidentified autorickshaw accidentally dumped chemical that emanated pungent smell. The driver fled the spot. Later, Fire Service personnel from Bannimantap rushed to the spot and diluted the chemical content. As a result, the road was covered in foam for some time.
