Chief Minister holds review meeting of MM Hills Development Authority

Chief Minister Siddharamaiah has asked Officials concerned to take all steps to ensure cleanliness and convenience to devotees who visit Male Mahadeshwara Temple in Chamarajanagar district.

He was chairing a meeting of Male Mahadeshwaraswamy (MM) Hill Development Authority here recently. The CM reviewed the development works taken up at the Hills. He asked Officers to set up information kiosks at Railway Station and Bus Stand in Mysuru as many people from other States visit the Hill shrine.

The CM approved the proposal to install a 80ft. tall statue of Lord Mahadeshwaraswamy mooted by the Authority. The meeting decided to provide accommodation to 58 Pourakarmikas working under the Authority. It was also decided at the CM’s behest  to construct 30 houses for them in the first phase and 30 in the second stage. A decision was taken to desilt the Antharagange Reservoir at the Hill.

Chamarajanagar District in-Charge Minister U.T. Khader, Muzrai Minister Rudrappa Lamani, CM’s Parliamentary Secretary Govindaraju, Legislators Narendra, Marithibbegowda, Sandesh Nagaraj, Srikantegowda, Dharmasena, Sri Guruswamy of Salur Mutt and District Officials participated in the meeting.
