Classical dance extravaganza by students of VPAC and Kalandika

Mysuru: ‘Chiguru Sanje-2018,’ the 32nd edition classical dance extravaganza by students of VPAC and Kalandika will be held at Jaganmohan Palace auditorium in city on Oct.25 and 26.

The Bharatanatyam programme in Vasundhara Bani  will be inaugurated by Dr. Poornima Krishnamurthy, Director, Prajna Kuteera, Mysuru, at 6 pm on Oct.25. Prof. K. Ramamurthy Rao, Director, Noopura, will be felicitated  on the occasion. B.S. Sridhar Raj Urs, President, Krishna Gana Sabha, Mysuru, will be the chief guest.

Hema Jayaram, Director, VCAN, Mysuru, will light the lamp and declare the event open on day-2. Dr. Padmavathi Narashiman, Musicologist & Art Critic, will be felicitated on the occasion.

K.V. Murthy, President of VPAC will preside over the programme on both the days.
