Chikkasubbaiah (75), a resident of Kallarepura village in Malavalli taluk, passed away on Monday following brief illness.
He leaves behind one son, two daughters, grand children and a host of relatives and friends.
Last rites were performed at Kallarepura Burial Grounds on Tuesday, according to family sources.
