Chikkathayamma (70), mother of BJP leader Ka.Pu. Siddalingaswamy, passed away here yesterday. She leaves behind her husband K.C. Puttaswamappa, sons Ka.Pu. Siddalingaswamy and Ka.Pu. Siddaveerappa and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were performed at Karya village this afternoon, according to family sources.
