Children’s English Play Festival

Kalasuruchi has been organising Prof.VishwanathMirle Memorial Children’s English Play Festival since 2016, except for the gap during the COVID years.  This year, the Festival is being held between Nov. 15 and 17. Six schools of the city are participating in the event. The programme will be inaugurated by Preeti Nagaraj, writer, journalist and theatre artiste, tomorrow (Nov. 15) at 5.30 pm at SuruchiRangamane on Chitrabhanu Road in Kuvempunagar.

Nov. 15: Staging of play ‘The Trail of a Thief’ by Mysore International School at 6.15 pm. Play ‘Post Early for Christmas’ by Acharya Vidya Kulaat 7.15 pm.

Nov. 16: Staging of play ‘Krishna &Sudama Friendship’ by GeethaShishuShikshana Sangha at 6 pm; ‘Tuglaq’ by The Orchid Public School & PU College at  7 pm.Nov. 17: Staging of play ‘Mother’s Day’ by ArivuVidyaSamsthe at 6 pm; ‘Justice Above Self’ by Sadvidya High School at 7 pm.
