China and Thailand investors to invest Rs. 2,000 crore in Mysuru

KIADB under Sakala purview now

Mysuru: Mysore Industries Association (MIA) in the 2017-18 Pre-budget proposal had requested the State Government to bring the services of KIADB under the purview of Sakala. A notification to this effect has been issued now.

The allottees of land by KIADB will now get their land allotment, confirmation of allotment, possession certificate, lease agreement, NoC for availing bank loans, plan approvals and other requirements through Sakala on a time-frame basis, which would help industrialists in a big way.

During the recent Investors Meet and Vendor Development Programme held in Bengaluru, the State Government was successful in getting Rs.2,000 crore investment from 12 Thailand and China Investors to Immavu Industrial Area of Mysuru to setup TVS ancillary units.

MLA and President of MIA Vasu felicitated R.V. Deshpande, Minister for Medium, Large Industries and Infrastructure recently at Mysuru for implementing Sakala in KIADB and bringing Chinese and Thai investors to Mysuru. Secretary Suresh Kumar Jain, District Industries Centre Joint Director H. Ramakrishnegowda, MIA Members Ashok Govindegowda, Manju, Aveesh Gowda and Abhishek Hegde were also present, according to H.K. Shivanna Chief Executive Officer, in a press release.
